1. What is the weirdest thing about you?
The weirdest thing about me is that I am a genuinely happy person. I don’t let much get to me – but if it does, I get mad and then get over it. No use in dwelling.
2. What are the book, the Movie and the song that has had the most impact on your life?
Book: Anything! I have always loved to read. I think it is one of the things people should try to do more often. It doesn’t have to be anything deep, just something stimulating.
Movie: The Wizard of Oz because I believe that if you dare to dream they really does come true! (Oh and I also like any movie with Matthew McConaughey…The Wedding Planner is a great one)
Song: Somewhere Over the Rainbow because it was the first song I learned (age 2 ½) or
My Favorite Things from the Sound of Music because it makes me smile.
3. If you could turn pro in one sport, what would it be?
I know most people don’t think it’s a sport, but dance or cheerleading. I did both most of my life and I miss it terribly.
4. If you could be on a reality show, which one would be?
I would have to be either Nashville Star or American Idol. I love to sing!
5. What sound or noise do you love? Which one do you hate?
The sound of my grandmother’s vintage radio, it crackles and pops, but it reminds me of my childhood.
I HATE the sound of any character from the show South Park.
6. Your favorite celebrity moment?
I would have to say meeting any band or celebrity that is humble and thanks me for coming to see them is my favorite.
7. If you could fix one thing with the world what would it be?
Gas prices…oh, and world peace…
8. Craziest job perk you can come up with?
That I actually love my job! Not many people can say that!
9. Who are your heroes?
I’m gonna be lame really quick and use the old stand-bys…my fiancé’ Andrew, Mom, Dad and Grandma because they have made me who I am.
10. Favorite vending machine food?
I love the Welch’s fruit chews – strawberry!
11. Personal Motto?
In a world where you can be anything, be yourself!
12.What song gets stuck in your head the most?
Most of the time it is a song I am writing, if not…Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler…don’t ask.
13.What is your Dream Car?
I think it would have to be a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera…maybe in my next life!
14.Who would you like to see on money?
Someone who has made a difference in the world.
15. Do you have any interesting habits?
Before I go on-air I do vocal warm-ups. If not in the car on the way in, I’ll do it in the studio. I know some of my colleagues have caught me and they think I’m nuts!
16.Last purchase over $50?
Dresses for flower girls in my wedding.
17.What did you want to be when you grew up?
I was set to become a famous singing superstar…hey, it could still happen right?
18.What is your fondest memory?
I tend to cherish any memories with my grandmothers. Both were strong, independent women who loved their families.
19.The song that fits me best now is?
Kenny Chesney – Living In Fast Forward because we moved into a new home last year, are planning a wedding, I’m working two jobs and I would like to go back to college to finish up a degree.
20. Where do you go, or what do you do to “get away from it all”?
Honestly, my car is my “get away from it all” place. I can drive fast, turn up the radio and sing as loud as I want!
21. What’s your wildest dream?
To be a successful singer/songwriter would be my wildest dream.
22. What is your proudest moment?
The day we moved into our house…I am still in awe that it is ours!
23. What is your biggest challenge?
I like to make everyone else happy and sometimes forget to take care of myself.
24. What would be your perfect day?
Any day spent camping or fishing with a cold beer is a good one!
25. What was your first job?
My first job was at a Church daycare. I loved every minute of it, but I think my mom told me to apply because it was GREAT birth control!
26. What or who is you inspiration?
My biggest inspiration is that tomorrow is another day. Whether I do something incredible or I don’t do anything at all, tomorrow always comes, so why not make it incredible?
27. What is your biggest indulgence?
My biggest indulgence right now is anything for the wedding.
